This source was Barry Goldwater’s platform for running for President of the United States in 1964. The information I received from this source was the ideas that Goldwater had if elected for president. I think that the reason Goldwater lost was because his ideas were not so direct, as compared to Lyndon B. Johnson. This helped me understand who opposed President Johnson and what the opposing arguments were.
